Seminar Attendance

SEMINAR ATTENDANCE

Because seminar meets twice a week all year long, a total of TWELVE absences per year will be allowed in seminar.  Students may earn credit in seminar if they meet all established seminar criteria for success.  

1. A student may not have more than 12 absences in Seminar for the school year.  As it is a participatory class, students who accumulate more than 12 absences in Seminar for the year will not receive credit. Students  may earn ¼ credit in seminar per year.

2. In addition to attendance requirements, students must also satisfy all other established academic criteria for seminar, including an electronic EDP completion and use time for academic purposes in order to earn credit in Seminar.
